Weekend Update

Hi There Room 1,

Well it has been a very busy week in class with Dino Rock and the Breeze visiting. Next week Room 1 students will be on the Radio each morning at 7:40 from Monday till Thursday. Listen in to see what they had to say - should be very interesting. Next week we will be writing a report on a dinosaur OF YOUR CHOICE. Check out the website links on this page to find out about a dinosaur you would like to investigate.

Room 1... All systems are go

Well it has been a whole week since the Blog got up and running and it seems to be going really well. Keep commenting on the things you see Room 1.
We have been so busy in class with Dinosaur rock in on Wednesday and The Breeze radio station coming in tomorrow. We will keep you posted as to when we can hear what some Room 1 pupils had to say later in the week. The segments should be on the Breeze next week from Monday to Thursday.

DINOSAUR ROCK

Today we had an amazing visit from Dino Darren and Jurasic Jaqui. It was amazing! We were able to explore loads of fossils as well as hunt for our own. As an extra bonus we even went panning for gold and gems.

Just look at the size of this T-Rex footprint. It is HUGE. This is the only cast of this footprint in New Zealand. Can you remember where the footprint was found Room 1? Chocolate fish reward!

Dinosaur Darren turned our William into a fierce Dinosaur. Look at the size of those horns. What did they use those horns for Room 1? Lollypop to the first correct answer.
